Flow Alternative Branching

Flow Branching

Flow Branching enables flow builders to create multiple paths within a flow, based on information provided in a Form action. This feature is essential for processes that may change based on certain conditions or user choices, providing flexibility in the workflow and customization. By enabling flow branching, ensure your workflows can adapt seamlessly to different scenarios, making them more efficient and tailored to specific inputs.

Key Benefits of Flow Alternative Branching

  • Flexibility: Adapt your workflows based on user input, ensuring that the process aligns with the specific choices made during the flow.
  • Customization: Tailor workflows to meet diverse scenarios, enhancing the relevance and efficiency of each process.
  • Efficiency: Streamline operations by directing each flow to the appropriate path automatically, reducing manual intervention and potential errors.

How Flow Branching Works

Conditional Branches in Flow
  • Precondition: Form
    • Example:
      • When the form specifies payment_method: Quickbooks
        • Direct to Quickbooks Payment
      • When the form specifies payment_method: Stripe
        • Direct to Stripe Payment

This feature is indispensable for processes that may change based on specific conditions or user choices, which might not be apparent until the flow is initiated.
