Adding action objects

There are multiple ways to add an action, including the sidebar, through the new menu, or within a conversation. 

To add an action through the sidebar,  hover over the actions tab and click the plus button. The list of available actions will appear in the dropdown menu. Select the action you’d like to use. To use an action from a template you’ve already built, click the arrow, select use content library, and choose the template you’d like to use. To add an action item from the new menu on the upper right, select new and choose any action listed under add.

There are two ways to add action items within a conversation. To add an item from the messaging box, click the plus icon, and follow the prompts to create an action. Alternatively, click the check mark icon. Then, select create. From there, you can create an action item that will be added directly into the conversation. Actions created in conversations can only be assigned to users within the conversation.
